Each school may submit as many competitors as they wish.

A declaration of the rig must be made at least five days before the event. For late entries an email received no later than 1700 on September 4th 2006, which clearly identifies the school, skipper and rig to be used will satisfy this requirement. All entries, which have not clearly indicated in advance the rig to be used, will compete as a full rig.

OPEN / EXHIBITION TEAM RACING: If the race committee completes a full round robin of fleet racing on Saturday all competitors are invited to participate in a 3 on 3 team race on Sunday. If a school cannot field a complete team, (6 sailors) a race committee representative will mix and match sailors from other schools that wish to participate. The goal of this Open Team Race will be to promote the fun side of team racing in a low stress -- non-points competition. 9 am report time for all interested sailors.

In 24 Vanguard 15s: Port Angeles is approximately 3 hr by car from SeaTac Airport in Seattle. Renting a van may be the best mode of transportation to the site. Local sailing conditions are regularly calm in the morning with wind building to 12 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Air temperature will be around 60 F and water temperature around 40 F.
Friday, May 13th will be a practice day, and the fleet may be available earlier in the week for teams arriving before Friday. ENTRY- NOR: 4 HSs from SAISA.

The three day 420 clinic will emphasize crew and skipper mechanics, rules and strategy. While the two day Laser clinic emphasizes boat handling, and stamina. The regatta will be sailed in 16 FJs and 16 420s. "A" division will sail USF FJs for the entire regatta while "B" division will sail the St. Petersburg Yacht Club 420s for the entire regatta.

Entries will be accepted in the order they are received. After 12 teams are accepted, additional schools will be notified that they will be added to a waiting list.
If a team is accepted to the regatta and cannot attend, please notify regatta organizer Stephanie Doyle as soon as possible so that teams on the waiting list can be notified. Teams that cancel or no-show after Thursday, January 29th shall forfeit their entry fee

The daily schedule will combine classroom instruction with on the water drills and be followed up with debrief of tactical situations, strategy, and umpire feedback. Sailors will receive individual attention. The training will be complemented with video of day’s practice sessions. Each sailor will receive a copy of Contemporary Team Racing (computer animated discussion of tactics and strategy), and a copy of both team racing and match racing call books.
